Summerhouse by The Sea.

This weekend I have the fortune to spend the sunny days at a summerhouse by the sea. I'm here with my dad, sister, dad's girlfriend and her son. Every day we enjoy good food along with the beautiful weather, though it is a bit windy this close to the water.

Last night we played badminton in the front yard and we just couldn't stop laughing at each other. We are staying here until sometime Sunday, because I have an exam tuesday that I have to prepare for. It's math, so I'm a little nervous and just hope that it will go smoothly even with all the technology required.

I hope you all spend your weekends some place nice as well.

PS. the pictures are me showing off some beautiful swirly champagne that glitters in the sun, as you can see.

We Welcome You, Summer!

Yeah, these are just some goofy pictures from days with beautiful weather. Anyways, at long last the summer seems to have come to Denmark. I, for one, am not complaining and simply just wearing shorts and tank tops. It makes for some strange tan lines, but I'm sure I'll survive it all.

I have only one week of school left and then our "study-vacation" (læseferie) starts. I have an exam in Social Studies (samfundsfag) and a big essay in danish that I have to do during this "vacation". It will be very nice though, to be able to sleep in almost every day.

Surprise, America!

The pictures we got in the photo booth.

Thursday I travelled all the way from good old Denmark to Bellaire in Michigan just to see all my friends. As you can see I went to prom as Nick's date (the tall guy) at Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club in Boyne which is north of Bellaire. I had so much fun and got a ton of wonderful pictures with all my friends. It was beautiful weather and just a perfect day.

The girl with the pizza is Kaitie and Eddie is the one giving her a back massage. This was taken at post-prom which was held at Bellaire Movie Theater and we watched the Amazing Spiderman 2. Not my favorite movie, but it had its moments.

The last picture is from yesterday (prom was saturday) where John, Nick, Anna and I went to Gaylord to go ice-skating. As a stroke of luck we had the whole place to ourselves, and John taught me how to ice-skate. We all just goofed around and had a ton of fun! I almost learned how to skate backwards, which is surprisingly difficult.

I'm staying here in Bellaire until friday morning. I hope the week passes slowly because I will do everything I can to enjoy every minute I'm here.

Well, that's all I have to say.
Later!
