Favorite Moments since Last Post.

As the title suggests these are pictures from my favorite moments this summer. The first one is from my graduation from Gymnasium which was a big event in my life. I did well in my final exam and it was such a relief and amazing feeling to have my sister put the graduation cap on my head and know that it was over. The last few months of gymnasium were so tough to get through.

The next one are pictures from my sailing trip to Norway with my dad, some of his friends and my sister. Wonderful trip though it was very cold, long, windy and slightly boring at times.

The third is the weekend trip to Budapest with my mother and sister. One of the best trips we have had so far together and I loved the city. The river you can see on two of the pictures is the river Donau that separates the city into Buda and Pest.

The final is pictures from my day-trip to Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark with my visiting american Eddie. He is visiting for three weeks and only have one week left here. So far though, we have had many fun trips and experiences.

Hope you enjoy!

Spontanous Trip to Brussels With Sille.

Super tired of school, homework and grades I asked one of my great friends Sille if she wanted to go to Brussels with me for two days. That was two weeks ago and we went from early morning the 5th to even earlier morning the 7th of May. The trip was so much fun. It was weird and very adult-like to plan the trip, buy the plane tickets and book a room at a hotel all by myself.

Our first day in Brussels didn't start out that well with missing the bus from the airport to the closest train station and having to wait an entire hour for the next one. But we passed the time by reading french Donald Duck cartoons. We eventually made it to the hotel which was a 5-star hotel! I had found a really good deal and we enjoyed the luxury to the fullest.

We mostly spent our two days in Brussels by walking around and just exploring on our own. We didn't really have anything that we needed to see, but we found so many fun things anyways! Brussels is a wonderful city that I can recommend visiting and will definitely have to go again.

Here are some of the many pictures we took on our little mini holiday.

I lit a candle for my grandfather who is currently in the hospital. I love you morfar and hope you get better.

My friends Sille looking super cute.

Never too old to chase pigeons.

The chocolate looked so good.

Galla at my School.

So! Friday evening was finally the day to have galla! Galla is the danish version of prom fyi. It was an amazing evening and night that started out with all the graduating classes dancing a formal dance called Lancier in the schools gym. It was so much fun and me and my partner (his name is Anders) did pretty well. Then we had dinner at the school and afterwards a party where the rest of the school joined. Our class had hired a partybus to take us from Roskilde to Copenhagen to continue the festivities after the party at the school had ended. I wasn't home until 5 am in the morning, so it's safe to say it was a very succesful evening and night!

I might add another post with additional pictures if I find any more ;)

Went to Machester With the Family.

We (Mom, Dwayne, Anna and I) went to Manchester for an extended weekend to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday and my sister's 22nd birthday. Their birthdays are the 11th and 16th of March so they're pretty close to each other. As a combined christmas and birthday gift I gave my mother a ticket to see Adele in Manchester, on her birthday. As a result we all ended up going and we had such a great time.
I can wholeheartedly recommend to go and see Adele live because she is so amazing! She is even better live than recorded and she is so funny. Best concert ever.

While we were in Manchester we stumbled upon a Brasilian restaurant called Cabana (the first picture) and they make great food! So good we had to come back the next day and eat lunch there. So if you ever find yourself in Manchester I can highly recommend going there.

At the moment I'm enjoying my Easter Break and just relaxing and hanging out with a bunch of friends. It is almost over, sadly, and school begins again tuesday. School is almost over for good though and I cannot wait to be done.

Happy Easter to all!

Soon It'll Be Christmas.

It is late november and almost Christmas. The first snow fell today in Roskilde and it was beautiful. I stood for a solid 10 minutes and just looked upon it with wonder on my face. I felt like I was 7 years old again and filled with the wonder and excitement of seeing the snow, knowing Christmas was coming around.

I haven't been taking many pictures lately which I'm rater bummed about. It is due to stress and having so many things to do. In the last year of gymnasium we have to write this huge paper and it begins the 4th of december. We then have two weeks to do it and we don't have any school classes during these weeks. We can freely choose the topic and the two subjects we'll be working within from school. I've chosen Biology and Chemistry as my two subjects and my topic will be something called proteincrystallography.

The reason why I'm stressed about it already is because we have to find all our literature and materials for writing the paper, and then it's a really good idea to read most of it before the 4th of December. The paper counts for quite a bit so it's important to do well.
Anyways that's what's happening for me right now, and here some pictures I took at Halloween.

Enjoy!

School, Friends, Grandparents and Such.

Hey everybody!

I've been back in school for 3 weeks now and my grandparents from the US have been visiting the last two. As usual I've been busy and having fun. This past monday I broke my right thumb (I'm right-handed) and have been wearing a big heavy cast since. Therefore this will be all I'm writing.
The last 3 pictures are of/from a danish museum called Moesgaard Museum and it's one of my favorite museums.

Please enjoy the random pictures from the last month or so.
